This position primarily serves as a sports information and communications assistant for CSUEB intercollegiate athletics, which consists of 14 teams with 10 head coaches plus assistant coaches. Under the supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities and Operations, the individual will assist in providing game coverage (to include but not limited to : scorekeeping, reporting, and record-keeping, etc.) for a wide range of sports and athletics contests. This position will also support the coordination of video production and other digital media projects. This will include support in media relations, marketing, and game management.
This position has been identified to have significant responsibility for student and campus activities, and will be required to function as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) under the Clery Act. In accordance with CSU Executive Order 1107, Implementation of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the incumber will be responsible for reporting allegations of Clery Act crimes to the University Police Department and / or the University Clery Director.

Satisfactory completion of a background check (including LiveScan, as appropriate), that may include, but is not limited to : criminal records check, verification of academic credentials, licenses, certificates, credit history, professional references and / or verification of work history is required for employment.
