Job Description

The City of Saratoga Springs currently has openings for Adult Sports Officials; these are part-time positions with the Saratoga Springs Recreation Department of approximately five to ten hours per week. This is a continuous recruitment and collected applications will be reviewed when more employees are needed for a program. These positions are responsible to act as the official at adult sports, games, or events.  Experience officiating one or more of the following preferred : basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball.

These positions are under the supervision of the Recreation Director and the Recreation Site Supervisors. The Recreation Department will try to provide the successful applicant with opportunities to grow and progress within the department.

Job Responsibilities

Salary Range :

The full salary range is as follows, please note hiring will normally occur at the Minimum of the range :

Steps (Years) Sport Officials - Adult Programs

Step 0 -$23.00 Step 5 -$28.00

Step 1 -$24.00 Step 6-$29.00

Step 2 -$25.00 Step 7 -$30.00

Step 3 -$26.00 Step 8 -$31.00

Step 4 -$27.00 Step 9 -$32.00

Schedule and Notices :

These positions typically work five to ten hours weekly as scheduled by the Recreation Director or Recreation Coordinator. Monday - Saturday, typically evenings and Saturdays
