Commercial Lines Account Manager

Turbeville Insurance is seeking a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager at the company's Columbia, Lexington, Charleston, or Beaufort locations. The Account Manager provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to customers, producers, and company personnel. The position requires a positive attitude and provides a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing our commercial accounts.

Essential Functions

• Service Commercial Lines Accounts as assigned, aiding in rating and quoting as needed
• Binding New & Renewal Coverage Processing Commercial Lines applications and collection of premiums per established agency procedures before binding any coverage
• Maintain client files in agency management system
• Maintain required licenses
• Respond to requests in a timely manner
• Issue cancellation notices as required
• Service commercial lines accounts to prevent gap and / or lapse in coverage, thus reducing E&O exposures
• On occasion, meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs
• Prepare general correspondence as required for executive officers
• Keep producers fully informed of important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management
• Other duties as assigned
