Description :

This position is for a travel registered nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The unit has 17 beds and a dedicated staff of 23.

The typical patient ratios range from 1 : 1 to 4 : 1.

The unit is equipped with Phillips monitors, Giraffe isolettes, and Hamilton ventilators.

The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.

Candidates should have experience with UAC and UVC insertion and intubation.

A strong personality fit is required, with qualities such as being kind-hearted and self-motivated.

The staff fosters a family-like atmosphere, taking pride in the exceptional care provided to neonatal patients and their families.

Collaboration is essential, as the nursing team works closely with neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary team.

Nurses are encouraged to advocate strongly for their patients and help develop daily care plans.
