Insurance Coordinator

Regions Outpatient Rehab has an opportunity available for an individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills to join our Neuroscience Center in an Insurance Coordinator position.

This position is accountable for follow-up of patient accounts to resolve unpaid claims. Is organized but flexible enough to accommodate changes in work schedule / assignments. Develops effective working relationships in the department and across the organization. Develops effective working relationships with outside insurance agencies, including Medicare, Medical Assistance and specific Workers Compensation groups. Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule :

Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm

Required Qualifications :

High school education or equivalent

6 years of clerical experience, with 2 years in healthcare required

Preferred Qualifications :

Two years post-secondary education in Health Care or Business Administration is preferred.

Registration, insurance or coding background strongly preferred

EPIC experience strongly preferred

Prefer experience with electronic medical record
