Specialist, Program Management - CAM / Material Planning

L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Control Account Manager (CAM) - Material Management to oversee the planning, management, and execution of material-related control accounts. This role focuses on managing material cost, schedule, and performance, ensuring supply chain activities are aligned with program needs.

Essential Functions :

  • Define, plan, and manage control accounts to meet contract requirements and program objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans for assigned control accounts.
  • Monitor performance, identify and explain variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide accurate and timely cost, schedule, and performance status to the Program Manager.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain interface to the program team, aligning integrated supply chain resources and solutions with business needs.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, finance, and program management to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Monitor material performance, identify variances, and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Support integrated baseline reviews, estimate-at-completion (EAC) updates, and internal and external program reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scope alignment and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable requirements and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in material management and program execution.
  • Implement and monitor material cost targets and procurement lead-time objectives in collaboration with Supply Chain Management.
  • Coordinate material requirements planning and execution to support program schedules and deliverables.
  • Track the status of procured materials from requisition through receipt, and final delivery, ensuring alignment with program milestones.
  • Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with Procurement, Quality, and Engineering to resolve material issues impacting schedule or cost.
  • Support proposal efforts and baseline planning, ensuring the material strategy is executable and aligned with program needs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Project / Program Manager.
  • Good communication / presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.
  • Possession of strong leadership qualities.
  • Proficiency with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and its application.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Up to 10% of travel may be expected.
  • Preferred Additional Skills :

  • Experience with DoD programs.
  • Formal training in Project Management.
  • PMI certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Active DoD security clearance.
  • In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $104,500-$193,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $90,500 - $168,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
