Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will help ensure projects are completed to the cultural and business standards created by Fleming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Support the preparation of bid packages, contracts, and change orders
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
  • Help manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Assist in budget tracking and cost control measures
  • Attend job site meetings and document minutes
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain project documentation and assist with closeout procedures
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction project management or a related role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (Autodesk preferred.)
  • OSHA 10 / 30 certification is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Employment is dependent on passing drug screening, physical, and background check.
