Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will help ensure projects are completed to the cultural and business standards created by Fleming.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Support the preparation of bid packages, contracts, and change orders
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
- Help manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Assist in budget tracking and cost control measures
- Attend job site meetings and document minutes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain project documentation and assist with closeout procedures
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred1–3 years of experience in construction project management or a related roleStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in MS Office and project management software (Autodesk preferred.)OSHA 10 / 30 certification is a plusValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredEmployment is dependent on passing drug screening, physical, and background check.
