Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Indianapolis, IN 46256 (Indiana nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Level 3 LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) with High Risk / Antepartum

Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026)

Shift : Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts per week (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1890-$1940

Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend

Floating : Rarely, may float to NICU as clinical support

Parking : Free on-site parking

Scrub Color : Seal Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Indiana or compact state) required

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Travel nursing experience required

Ability to independently circulate C-Sections

Required Certifications : BLS, NRP

Preferred Certifications : AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS

Epic charting experience required

Must reside at least 50 miles from any CHN facility (local candidates not accepted)

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum settings

Assist with vaginal deliveries and Cesarean Sections

Independently circulate for C-sections

Triage obstetrical patients and manage abnormal fetal heart rate patterns

Start and maintain IVs; utilize external fetal monitoring

Implement isolation precautions and use PPE as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, and more)

Provide clinical support in the NICU as needed
