Hourly Pay Range :

$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights :

Position : LPN - Neurosciences

Location : Arlington Heights, IL

Full Time / Part Time : Full Time, 40 hours / week

Hours : Monday-Friday, Day shift

Required Travel : No

What you will do :

Provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in accordance with the State of IL Nurse Practice Act based upon the developmental stages of the patient : Assists RN in patient care activities and tasks, as delegated. Administers medications as delegated by the RN and within their scope of practice.

Collects and documents patient monitoring data. Observes, documents, and reports changes in patient's condition / environment to the RN. Documents changes in existing Care Plan after collaboration with RN.

Communicates effectively with patients, and members of the health care team. Conveys information regarding patient care needs to appropriate health care team members. Interacts positively and therapeutically with patients and family members based upon the developmental stages of the patient.

What you will need :

Graduate from a state accredited School of Practical Nursing.

Current LPN license from the state of Illinois.

Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Minimum 1 year experience as an LPN preferred.

Knowledge of and / or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
