Job Description :

The DevOps Engineer III is part of the Global DevOps and SRE team. The DevOps Engineer III works in a multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS using technologies such as Github, Github Actions, Kubernetes / EKS, Serverless, Snowflake / Looker, IaC, and Cloud Security. As an individual contributor, the DevOps Engineer reports to the DevOps manager and collaborates with other teams to implement DevOps best practices. This role is critical in Wayvia DevOps and Cloud transformation journey, building sustainable tools and procedures for efficient software development and deployment.

Essential Function & Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Design and implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across the infrastructure.
• Identify and automate repetitive tasks and requests to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to share knowledge and skills.
• Conduct cost reviews of existing cloud resources and assess opportunities to optimize costs and infrastructure footprint.
• Plan and execute initiatives to upgrade and scale systems, improving capacity, availability, reliability, and performance.
• Provide operational support for all environments, including participation in a rotating On-Call schedule.

Location :

We are hiring for this position in US. Remote work allowed. This is a remote position.

Compensation :

The base salary for this role is $100,000 - $140,000. Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law.
