ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Opportunity : RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour shifts on Cardiac Tele unit (Tower 7)
  • Nurse to patient ratios of 1 : 3 or 1 : 4
  • 4 total weekend shifts required per 4 weeks
  • Holiday coverage required based on unit needs
  • No call or standby requirements
  • Must have Level 1 trauma experience
  • BLS certification required
  • Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
  • Pass / fail SIMs lab on day 1 of orientation including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
  • 2-day unit orientation provided
  • Self-scheduling allowed with scheduler balancing shifts
  • Must titrate drips including Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
  • Care for post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients including CABG, MVR, STEMI, heart failure, and vascular repair patients
  • Must be able to interpret common cardiac rhythms
  • Floating to all other applicable areas required
  • Must have own vehicle for travel
  • Navy blue scrubs required (not provided)
  • Natural hair color required with no facial piercings
  • Men must be clean shaven for fit testing
  • Use Cerner charting system
  • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

    This healthcare facility operates as a major medical center providing comprehensive cardiac care services including advanced cardiovascular surgery and telemetry monitoring. The facility features specialized cardiac units with dedicated telemetry monitoring, respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula, and maintains strict clinical standards with rigorous competency requirements for all nursing staff.
