The Magnet Program Manager reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This position provides support to the Director of Professional Practice by leading all aspects of the ANCC Magnet designation and re-designation processes. This position coordinates the collection and distribution of key patient care services quality metrics including but not limited to RN satisfaction, patient satisfaction and nurse sensitive indicators to assure compliance with Magnet requirements. This position maintains expert knowledge of current Magnet requirements and ensures organization awareness of changes / updates. The Magnet Program Manager functions as primary liaison with Magnet Office.
The incumbent must use independent judgment and authority to execute projects and maintain workflow. Must demonstrate superior organization skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and attention to detail. Will work as part of the team and must be flexible and adaptable. Will interact with internal customers calling for assistance. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to be creative, organized, and self-directed.
