As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the business. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and foster strong client relationships. This involves visiting local businesses, participating in community events, engaging in cold calling efforts, and diligently pursuing leads from our website. Adeptness in setting up initial meetings with potential clients will serve as the gateway to introducing our products and services. Serve as a knowledgeable resource, addressing client inquiries about our products, services, and pricing, while collaborating with different departments within Taylored Systems to craft personalized technology proposals. Conducting site surveys when needed to gather a better scope of what products are needed and where they will be installed is essential in providing the most efficient and personalized proposal. Following project completion, you'll circle back to our clients, reinforcing our commitment to satisfaction and solidifying long-term relationships with businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create new sales opportunities through prospecting.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Developing new prospects in interacting with assigned customers to increase sales and margin of the company’s products and / or services.
- Deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and / or product demonstrations.
- Generate new client relationships by actively engaging with local businesses, participating in community events, making strategic cold calls, and diligently following up on leads generated through our website.
- Set up initial meetings with new clients to present our products and services.
- Address potential technology needs for clients.
- Answer client questions about products, services, and prices.
- Collaborate with other departments within Taylored Systems on technology proposals.
- Conduct site surveys, as necessary.
- Follow up with clients after the job has been fully completed to ensure satisfaction.
- Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
- Collaborates with prospective clients to grasp their challenges; discerns and recommends equipment, products, or services tailored to address those specific needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Highschool diploma or equivalent.At least 5 years technology or related experience required.A comparable record of sales leadership experience required.At least 2 years of business-to-business sales experience required.Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
