What You Will Do
All of our engineering and manufacturing is completed in-house, allowing complete control over project timelines. As a Project Manager, you will :
Coordinate internal and external resources for the execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using the appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor degree in Project Management, Business Management, Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent preferred
Level II : 2+ years' experience in Project / Program Management
Level II : 3+ years' experience in Project / Program Management
Selected candidate's Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experiences.
Previous, proven demonstrated excellent team playing abilities with organizational and time management skills
Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant experience leading custom engineered projects
Technical knowledge of engineered robotic welding systems
Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
Ability to understand system layouts and / or technical manuals
Ability to develop and deliver presentations
Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures
Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to project team
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
Knowledge of the operating practices of fabrication and manufacturing
Ability to assess contract compliance and product / service quality
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong working knowledge of Project Management Tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project is a plus
