Procurement Financial Analyst

Position Overview

As a Procurement Financial Analyst , you will play a critical role in supporting our core accounting operations, reporting directly to the General Accounting Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day financial tasks and key month-end close activities within our fast-paced Accounting Center.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including our strategic partners, to help ensure accurate reporting and strong financial controls. Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement Organization, with a primary focus on month-end close activities
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform related account reconciliations
• Analyze material price variances from manufacturing locations and identify key drivers
• Monitor standard material cost data using Microsoft Excel and Access
• Prepare monthly reports related to supplier payments and procurement performance
• Document and / or review accounting procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from internal stakeholders
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting Center
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
