Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic and people-focused environment.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $19.10 / Hour

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff to address security-related issues and provide support during emergency response activities.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding security-related incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
