job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCoordinate the planning and delivery of safe, high-quality, cost-effective care Develop and supervise an effective staffing plan Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff evaluations Establish strategies to ensure high-quality health care delivery Assist in developing and updating administrative and clinical policies and procedures Monitor clinical documentation to ensure compliance with agency policies and Medicare / Medicaid guidelines Maintain knowledge of licensure, accreditation, and regulatory requirements Oversee interdisciplinary coordination of care Provide leadership, training, and support to clinical staff Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in IL Minimum 2 years of Home Health experience At least 1 year of supervisory experience in Home Health Minimum 1 year of OASIS experience Strong understanding of federal / state Home Health and Medicare regulations WellSky (Kinnser) experience preferred Physical exam within 12 months prior to patient care Current TB test (within 12 months) Current CPR certification Valid driver's license Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM at our office

Position Overview
The Director of Nursing oversees the organization, coordination, and supervision of all clinical services at Nightingale Home Healthcare. This includes skilled and non-skilled staff as well as contracted personnel providing direct care. The DON ensures high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective home health services while promoting excellence in patient outcomes.
