Position : Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech – Mission Hospital\nLocation : 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 – K Tower, Floor K2\nShift : Day / Night coverage (weekends : every 7th weekend; one secondary night call during the week)\nStaffing : \n\n2 single-plane (GE) and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms, plus one Invasive CT scanner\n\nDay shift : 2 techs per room + 1 nurse per room\n\nNight shift : 1 tech + 1 RN\n\nPatient ratio : 1 : 1\n\nEMR : Cerner (Radnet)\n\nRequirements : \n\nMust -have : Previous IR / Cath lab experience, moderate sedation experience\n\nCertifications : BLS\n\nPreferred : Neurointerventional experience, vascular OR experience, Cath Lab, VI Registered\n\nTypical Procedures : \n\nDialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms / embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases\n\nCerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties\n\nPersonality Fit : Flexible, strong team player\nDress Code : Hospital-provided scrubs\nFloating Areas : Vascular OR\n\nHospital Highlights : \n\n815-bed flagship hospital, Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III NICU\n\nOnly children’s hospital in the region\n\nBusiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas\n\nOpen heart and interventional cardiology only in the region\n\nRecognized by Healthgrades, Leapfrog, STS, Magnet Designation
