JOB OVERVIEW
The Creative Director sets the company’s creative strategy and turns business objectives into innovative, high-quality, brand-consistent experiences. This role builds and sustains an equitable structure for the Creative Design team, recruits and develops talent, and establishes clear standards, training, and best practices so team leaders can manage day-to-day execution confidently. They safeguard quality and brand consistency while watching trends and technologies to fuel continual innovation, and they optimize cross-departmental processes for efficiency. The Creative Director also oversees internal and external brand expression – including marketing materials – ensuring the company’s identity is articulated consistently across every touchpoint.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee portfolio quality control (aesthetics, narrative, brand systems).
Co-architect the end-to-end operating system so execution consistently meets creative bar – defining workflow gates, roles, capacity, and tool standards.
Lead the tool stack and standards (e.g., Monday.com, Ziflow, file hygiene).
Manage department budgets.
Track and resolve cross-department conflicts.
Identify knowledge gaps and implement department training.
Coach the creative team and guide succession planning.
Support OKRs and run performance / comp reviews.
Present department health to the VP of Creative Services : pipeline, quality, risk, utilization, and margin drivers.
Run a weekly Associate Director of Creative Operations / Art Director sync to track program health, risks, and resourcing.
Lead research & development pilots.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
7+ years experiential / brand / event design; 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Demonstration of large-scale programs and integrated brand systems.
Built or modeled creative processes and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s in Design / Architecture / Experiential (or equivalent experience).
Deep collaboration with production / fabrication and supplier ecosystems.
Proficiency with Adobe CC; literacy in planning / proofing tools (Monday, Ziflow) and floorplan / CAD.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $115,000 annually based on relevant experience, industry knowledge, and technical expertise. This position is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and profit-sharing opportunities. This is a remote position reporting to our Denver, CO headquarters, but if the hired individual is near one of our offices – we'd love to see them in the office a couple days a week.
