The Opportunity :
Whittier Street Health Center is seeking a full-time Child and Family Clinician (LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC) to join our Behavioral Health team with dedicated time supporting Maternal Wellness initiatives. In this role, you will provide trauma-informed mental health services to pregnant and parenting women and their families, helping promote emotional health, resilience, and stability during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. This is a meaningful opportunity for a clinician passionate about perinatal mental health, family systems, and integrated care.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct diagnostic assessments for pregnant and parenting women and familiesProvide individual, family, and group therapy using trauma-informed, evidence-based approachesDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and medical providersFacilitate maternal wellness and parenting support groupsDeliver interventions tailored to perinatal mental health and family adjustmentCollaborate closely with OB / GYN, Pediatrics, and Behavioral Health teamsConduct intakes and respond to immediate referrals from medical providersQualifications :
Licensed clinician in Massachusetts (LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC)Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related fieldMinimum of 2 years’ experience providing mental health services to children, women, or familiesExperience in perinatal mental health, trauma-informed care, or maternal wellness strongly preferredClinical internship and coursework in child, adolescent, and family therapyStrong knowledge of DSM-5 and evidence-based treatment protocolsAbility to conduct thorough assessments and develop high-quality treatment plansJoin Our Team!
