Senior Service Order Desk Manager
GEA Group in Frisco, TX is looking for a dynamic people-leader to join our team as our Senior Service Order Desk Manager! This individual will lead a team of 10 people and ensure all service and spare parts orders meet and exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the order desk team to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the entire spare parts and after sales order process, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of orders and service billing.
- Monitor and responsible for key performance indicators such as delivery performance and inventory turns, backlog performance, time to offer and customer satisfaction index.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline order management and enhance overall efficiency.
- Interfaces with supply chain and procurement on key inventory or process related issues that impact the spare parts order handling team.
- Communicate with the service sales team and customers on any order issues that require manager decisions and actions. (Discounts, free of charge reship, etc.)
- Design and develop tools to automate workflows and improve the accuracy of order processing.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Conduct regular business analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in order operations.
- Manage the inventory budget, monitor margins, and ensure cost-effective inventory practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of order desk processes with overall business operations.
- Other division / department tasks and assignments as directed by the Head of FHT NAM Service.
Requirements :
A technical or business degree preferred, plus a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in order desk, inside sales management or a similar role, preferably within the spare parts industry. 10+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Computer literacy including knowledge of SAP, CRM, MS Office, and ability to quickly learn new software.Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to measure and drive team performance to maximize department goals.Experience managing teams that are working with OEM products and factories highly preferred.The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000.00 - $103,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
