Lead and manage preconstruction efforts, including estimating, budgeting, and scheduling for construction projects. Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and project goals. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to support project success. Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify potential challenges and propose solutions. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, cost estimates, and value engineering recommendations. Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements. Monitor and report on preconstruction progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and development.

A successful Director of Preconstruction should have : a strong understanding of preconstruction principles, construction processes, and industry best practices. Proven ability to develop accurate budgets, schedules, and cost estimates for construction projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience leading teams and mentoring junior professionals in the construction department. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
