We are seeking a Sr. Technical Manager, SAP Cloud Application Programming to join our team. In this role, you will lead SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) initiatives, drive solution design, provide architectural guidance, and ensure seamless integration of SAP applications across our systems—including both ECC and S / 4HANA.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day support of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) CAP environments, guiding development teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. This role requires hands-on expertise with CAPM, SAP Fiori / UI5, Node.js, and SAP BTP tools.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Thought Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP UI5 / Fiori applications using SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Architect and implement BTP-based solutions, including CDS Views, Services, HDI Containers, and OData services.
• Design and deploy custom and standard ERP applications using SAP Business Application Studio, VS Code, and SAP Web IDE.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and third-party vendors—to define integration requirements and technical solution designs.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on SAP Clean Core strategy, SAP CAP best practices, and third-party application development within the BTP platform.
• Maintain technical documentation and frameworks to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and development standards.
• Stay up to date with advancements in SAP CAP, Fiori / UI5, and BTP technologies and proactively recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience : 10+ years of experience in front-end development and architecture of SAP UI / UX using JavaScript, Node.js, and SAP UI5 / Fiori applications.

Skills

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $156,900.00 - $184,600.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs. For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
