Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will manage critical financial processes and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of payments and reconciliations. Responsibilities :

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and proper coding, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and other payment methods efficiently.
• Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely and accurate disbursements.
• Support month-end close activities by reconciling accounts payable records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and financial documentation.
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and address overdue payments promptly.
• Assist in improving accounts payable processes for greater efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance in all financial activities.
• Provide support during audits by preparing and supplying necessary documentation.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable processes within a meticulous and focused setting.
