Registered Nurse Manager (Newport, OR)

Location : Newport OR

International Health and Medical Services is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role includes managing daily operations addressing clinical issues and fostering a collaborative environment to promote optimal patient care and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for the management supervision and evaluation of care delivered by nursing and other allied health staff for assigned areas on a 24-hour basis.
• Use appropriate consultation with experts of each discipline he / she supervises to ensure that practice and performance issues are addressed and resolved.
• Functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care.
• Assesses plans implements and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components.
• Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education self-management and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
• Demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team and leading innovative process improvement initiatives.
• Execute position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership experience and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
• Responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation training development of staff and evaluation of individual staff performance.
• Function as a role model educator practitioner and supervisor providing leadership to the team.
• Influence care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based programs and processes.
• Perform initial patient triage and ongoing assessment and treatment of acute / urgent presenting symptoms in collaboration with the provider.
• Use critical thinking and excellent communication skills to care for patients.
• Knowledgeable of an array of presenting symptoms to quickly triage with appropriate use of nursing protocols in providing evidence-based care.
• Take vital signs collects specimens for lab testing administers medications administers IV fluid performs 12-lead EKG as needed.
• Performs point-of-care testing.
• Accurately documents care given.
• Strictly follows all infection control guidelines to provide safe patient care.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
