Position Summary
Red Cat Holdings is looking to fill an immediate position for a full-time Senior Associate Accounting role. Red Cat is a rapidly growing technology company focused on creating worldclass system solutions serving a broad range of applications for design and development of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS drones) for use in defense, public safety, and other government security organizations. This role involves developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
This role will be based out of Teal Drones, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Cat, facility in Salt Lake City, UT and will report to the Corporate Controller.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Understand and report the accounting for revenue, inventory, cost of revenue, and other key financial statement areas as necessary including but not limited to reconciliations and journal entries
Reconcile intercompany transactions across subsidiaries
Assist in month-end close processes
Write accounting memorandums to document and define technical processes using accounting guidance from various sources
Assist with the preparation of 10Q and 10K schedules and supporting documents for external audits as performed by the public accounting firm
Assist in the development of accounting and compliance policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives
Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks (ICFR) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including documentation and testing.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
1 to 3 years of experience
Public accounting experience in audit and / or experience at a publicly traded company
CPAs preferred
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SAP Business One).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Availability to work occasional overtime or irregular hours to meet deadlines or assist with special projects, as needed.
Aptitude for maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
