Finance Associate

Community Bible Church of Savannah is looking for a biblically solid Finance Associate who has experience in bookkeeping, and is familiar with non-profit finance. This person should have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and exhibit a meaningful and growing personal relationship with him that models the biblical standards of personal conduct and lifestyle. This person should show integrity, professionalism, and discretion as well as be able to work cooperatively within a team.

The Finance Associate will work directly with the Finance Director and Administrative team to maintain up-to-date and accurate records in various software systems. This person will have weekly and monthly responsibilities such as maintain records in accounting and membership software ensuring all systems are kept up to date through data entry; pre-reconcile and audit accounts weekly; oversee all aspects of accounts receivable an accounts payable; assist in monthly closing process; create and distribute monthly departmental finance reports; distribute donor statements and in-kind & stock donation letters as needed; provide assistance to staff and members.
