A pioneering automotive industry leader is looking for an experienced Controller to lead and transform its financial management and accounting practices. This strategic role reports directly to executive leadership and plays a key part in supporting continued growth and operational excellence. With a strong foundation in cost accounting and team leadership, this role is ideal for someone looking to bring vision, precision, and insight to a dynamic and impactful manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly financial reports to company leadership and stakeholders.
- Partner with executive and operations leadership to build accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial models that support business goals.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Maintain and enhance internal control systems to support compliance and operational integrity.
- Manage and direct financial record-keeping activities, encompassing account balancing, vendor and customer invoicing, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Deliver meaningful cost and inventory analysis to aid production efficiency and business decision-making.
- Provide team leadership across finance functions, with a focus on mentorship, structure, and continuous improvement.
- Support business expansion through financial planning, scenario analysis, and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA preferred.5+ years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated experience with cost accounting and inventory management.Strong command of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting best practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.High attention to detail and strong analytical acumen.Clear communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.What’s In It For You :
