An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Structural Engineer in our New Haven, CT office. The successful candidate will become part of an exciting and dynamic structural group, and will have opportunities to contribute to large projects throughout North America.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Licensed Professional Engineer with license in the State of CT. Proficiency in STAAD, CSI, SAP, AASHTOWare BrR and other structural analysis and design software. Ability to develop drawings using AutoCAD and Open Bridge Modeler, including conformance to CTDOT Digital Design Environment. Understanding of design codes and agency standards such as AASHTO, ASCE, AISC and ACI. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong leadership and team building skills, which are essential to meet the expectations of this challenging position.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or Equivalent, Graduate Degree highly desired. Minimum 5 years of experience in the structural design and analysis of bridges and other transportation structures. Professional Engineer in Connecticut required.

Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
