Mechanical Designer

Summary : Seeking a Mechanical Designer with expertise in CAD drafting and design of process systems for a variety of engineering projects.

Requirements :

3+ years of progressive CAD drafting / design experience of process systems

Responsibilities :

Conduct regular site visits to verify field conditions and ensure design alignment Coordinate with project teams to achieve design objectives Create comprehensive 2D drawing packages following site design standards Verify, update, and draft chemical / mechanical plans including piping layout and equipment schematics Draft detailed piping plans, P&IDs, and flow diagrams for HVAC, Hydronics, and Fire Protection systems Implement isometric views into design packages for field installation assistance Provide custom installation details for complex project portions Conduct punch-list walks on completed projects to ensure adherence to design intent Participate in updates for design changes, cost reductions, and manufacturability improvements

Pay Details : $24.00 to $33.00 per hour
