Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to :

  • Maintains portfolios of Suppliers to process invoices.
  • Access invoices in Workday, AP mailbox, and email
  • Review invoices for the general ledger coding process
  • Audits invoices with Purchase Order numbers and matching
  • Able to differentiate internal teams and determine specific general ledger coding.
  • Can prioritize invoices by Due Dates, urgency, and special handling requests.
  • Research past due amounts, balance forward & late fees / finance charges on invoices
  • Audits invoices against statements, research discrepancies, and contacts Suppliers as needed.
  • Investigate issues with Suppliers as it relates to obtaining payment status for invoices.
  • Answer accounts payable inquiries
  • Reconciling credit card statements to purchase documentation / receipts.
  • Assists with related special projects, as required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

The qualifications.

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
  • Some college coursework and / or degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Computerized accounting software
  • Experience with Workday software, a plus
  • Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, or similar vocations is a plus. Requires three (3) to four (4) years of experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with data entry.

    Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO, IL, or MA. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range for their position, as compensation decisions are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to : responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer market-based starting salaries that are consistent across individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

    The compensation range for this role in IL, MA or CO is : $22.94-$32.41
