Key Responsibilities :

As a Tax Accountant you'll be a key contributor to our success. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

Prepare federal and state tax returns with a focus on estate and trust tax filing

Utilize UltraTax software efficient and accurate tax preparation

Use QuickBooks for reviewing and reconciling client financial data

Review client documents to ensure accuracy and completeness

Stay current with tax regulations affecting estates and trusts

Collaborate with the tax team to meet seasonal deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess :

Minimum of 5-10 year’s experience in public accounting (CPA firm).

Strong understanding of tax laws related to estates, trusts and fiduciary returns

IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) certification preferred

Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

Proficiency with MS Office and QuickBooks; familiarity with UltraTax or other Thomson Reuters software is required
