Corporate Development Manager
Oversees corporate development activities, conducts financial analysis, leads projects, collaborates with stakeholders, manages resources, and maintains high-quality standards to support strategic growth.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Partners with leadership team to evaluate M&A opportunities of all sizes. Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to identify targets.
- Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding acquisitions, new development sites, and deal modeling.
- Develop and manage pro forma valuation models, financial models, operating models, and leverage / liquidity models - including identification of synergies, forecasts, and deal structures.
- Manage due diligence processes including requesting, organizing, reviewing, and analyzing information received from acquisition targets.
- Support the development of budgets and performance metrics for the on-boarding of acquired businesses.
- Support integration planning and execution, in coordination with the integration PMO team, including metrics and resources needed to ensure business continuity post deal closing.
- Conduct special projects to analyze complex financial scenarios and prepare recommendations to support the overall growth of the business.
Qualifications & Characteristics
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and able to surface, structure, and drive initiatives based on high-level guidance; yet comfortable asking for help.At least 4+ years of M&A experience (investment banking, private equity, and / or corporate M&A).Relevant M&A experience in Software / Tech and Service industries. Curiosity about technology innovation and trends is required.Analytical, methodical, and rigorous; ability to independently take apart complex business issues, research, analyses, and synthesize conclusions.Ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run test analyses as well as the ability to present complex concepts / ideas in concise, easy-to-understand terms.Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level and cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing.Excellent teamwork, empathy, effective communication, and appetite for feedback. Ability to work independently, cross functionally, and cross-BUs.Ability to prioritize large number of initiatives and to pivot quickly as demands change, with strong attention to time / deadline constraints.The Compensation range for this role is $180K USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
