Position overview

As a parts inventory helper your primary role is to support the Fleet Manager and fleet department as well as help as directed

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists in tracking compliance paperwork (haz-waste records, or other)
• Checks in and signs out parts / teeth and consumables management
• Goes on parts runs / deliveries (in, out, or to vendors or Mechanic / Operator in need.)
• Conducts inventory invoice coding and posting in systems.
• Conducts inventory cycle counts
• Fills-in for Parts Shop or Yard personnel in the event of absence or as needed
• Maintains inventory control as required
• Ensures that all housekeeping items are maintain in a clean and order area
• Performs other duties as assigned
