Job Description
Lead and oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning through successful implementation. Strategically allocate resources to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of assigned projects. Direct and supervise onsite personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain seamless operations. Collaborate and interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure compliance and alignment. Negotiate contracts and orders with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive costs and favorable terms. Uphold high standards of workmanship that consistently adhere to original plans, specifications, and quality benchmarks. Monitor project schedules and budgets to proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards across all job sites. Foster strong client relationships by maintaining open communication, transparency, and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle. Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and implement innovative construction practices. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions. Mentor and develop team members, cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Drive project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and documentation to ensure client satisfaction and long-term value.

The Successful Applicant
5-8+ years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a closely related leadership role. Specialized expertise in managing complex projects within the Healthcare and Education sectors (preferred). Proficiency with construction management software and digital tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating teams and fostering collaboration. Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, ensuring fair agreements and smooth project delivery. Highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven, consistently delivering projects on time and within scope. Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging with clients, contractors, inspectors, and stakeholders at all levels. Financial acumen, with experience in cost control, resource allocation, and budget management. Problem-solving mindset, able to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions quickly. Commitment to quality assurance, ensuring workmanship meets or exceeds specifications and client expectations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities in fast-paced environments. Dedication to continuous improvement, embracing innovation and new technologies to enhance efficiency. Strong organizational skills, with expertise in documentation, reporting, and project closeout procedures.
