The Primary Care physician team leader works as both a primary care physician following a panel of patients and as an administrative leader of a primary care team. In general, the leader's direct clinical care comprises 0.85 FTE, while administrative duties account for 0.15. The clinical expectations below are the same as for all other primary care physicians.

Pay : Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

EDRP Authorized : Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment) : This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.
