The Product Manager II for Tools and Analytics is responsible for maximizing the value of products developed by internal and external engineering teams. The Product Manager II serves as a conduit between internal and airline / partner stakeholders, as well as other Product Managers, to define and prioritize features in the product backlog. They work directly with Product and Business Stakeholders on overall backlog management and planning activities. This individual is outcome-focused and passionate about enhancing the in-flight experience for airlines and travelers.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead ideation efforts, technical development, and launches of innovative IFEC products and services
- Manage and own cloud-based services, data platforms, and business intelligence tools
- Collaborate with UI / UX, backend, and API teams to ensure seamless data gathering, visualization, and integration across systems
- Assist in establishing a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to execution
- Gather and transform business and airline needs into product requirements efficiently
- Drive platform development with a team of world-class engineers, product designers, and cross-functional partners
- Provide input into short-term and long-term product roadmaps
- Ensure that products being created have a defined long-term operational plan
- Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into platform requirements to enhance user satisfaction
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
- Understand the IFEC, consumer technology, and entertainment technology markets
- Understand the competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry and capture the voice of the customer
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field3–6 years of experience working in Product Management or Product Development in data analytics, aviation, IoT, connected platforms, or related marketsStrong understanding of data visualization, KPIs, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)Familiarity with web technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Fabric, AWS)Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityAbility to manage multiple tasks and work independentlyKnowledge of Product Management tools such as Jira and wireframing software is highly desiredBenefits
The starting pay range for this position is $84,800 - $101,700 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
