Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you will care for a complex and diverse patient population including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resectionsCervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeriesHemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke ProgramA high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow casesWork with the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , and gain exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

Registered Nurse license in the state of practiceBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)Education and Experience Required :
Graduation from an accredited or approved Nursing program.Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care and adapt to situational changes.Proficient computer skills and competency in electronic medical record systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong decision-making, organization, and problem-solving abilities.Must be able to perform physical tasks related to patient care.Physical Requirements :
