Supplier Development Engineer

Job Description :

• Drive APQP activities at suppliers.
• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience is mandatory
• 20% Domestic travel required."
• Follow up with suppliers in part development in a timely manner.
• Educate Suppliers about the Parker PPAP / FAIR and other quality requirements.
• Evaluate PPAP documentation and align with Parker Quality requirements.
• Conduct onsite PPAP audits at vendor ends.
• Analyze quality issues at supplier end, work on RCA and corrective actions closure.
• Supplier query resolution and if required connect with cross functional team to ensure query get resolved in time.
• Constant follow up with suppliers to ensure they support all work transfer activities (FAI, PPAP, etc.) in a timely manner to support on time completion of work transfers.
• Provide weekly updates on work transfer progress.
• Assist Tactical Team with sort / containment activity due to Purchased component issues.
• Quickly develop skills pertaining to Supplier quality tools available for job execution.
• Liaison activity between Supplier and Parker Customer on RCCA.
