About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President Legal to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice to the business ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations manage legal risk and support corporate initiatives. This role requires strong negotiation communication and analytical skills with a proven ability to lead complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and scale the Legal function defining the optimal team structure within the first 3060 days and establishing a clear vision for growth.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership aligning legal strategy with business goals to balance risk management and agility.
• Provide counsel across a wide range of corporate commercial and compliance matters including contracts partnerships employment data privacy and regulatory issues.
• Draft review and negotiate complex agreements such as vendor licensing partnership and service contracts.
• Develop and implement legal frameworks including policies templates and a comprehensive commercial playbook to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee the cleanup and centralization of the companys legal repository ensuring accuracy accessibility and compliance.
• Stay current on laws and regulations impacting the business including data privacy and ESG-related requirements.
• Foster a culture of clarity accountability and urgency within the Legal team ensuring near-term priorities are managed while enabling long-term strategy.
• Demonstrate decisive visible leadership and strong executive presence across the organization.
