The Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization within our client’s Specialized Infrastructure Operations group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join their team in Herndon, VA.

This role supports the Mission Operations Portfolio, delivering complex, mission-critical solutions for both commercial and government clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovation in high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee system integration, hardware / software installation, and configuration of servers and workstations.
  • Provide advanced problem resolution, root cause analysis, and technical support for delivery systems.
  • Participate in the design, validation, and configuration management of computing systems.
  • Plan and coordinate system changes and upgrades.
  • Administer user access and implement safeguards to meet stringent security requirements.
  • Monitor system performance to support capacity planning and disaster recovery.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, providing leadership in technical areas.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

  • Active Top Secret Clearance SCI & Enrolled in CE program.
  • Active Full Scope Polygraph .
  • years of experience as a systems administrator.
  • years of experience working in cross-functional environments, including collaboration with executive leadership.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Active certifications in Cloud , INFOSEC , or related fields.
  • Experience with Virtualization technologies (, AHV, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with VDI infrastructure , system monitoring, and security best practices.
  • Experience documenting Confluence and tracking tasks in Jira .

    • An ACTIVE Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role .
