Alabama State University, Academic Affairs, College of Education Invites applications to fill the position of Counseling Education Assistant / Associate Professor. Under supervision of the Department of Instructional Support Programs Chair, the Assistant / Associate Professor teaches online counselor educational courses, serves as an academic advisor, supervises clinical experiences, and engages in research and publication at a level consistent with graduate teaching status.
Duties and Responsibilities :
An earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision forma a CACREP accredited program, and 2 years of experience as a mental health counseling professional are required. Must be eligible to meet LPC requirements int he state of Alabama.
It is to be noted that for the purpose of continuous improvement of faculty qualifications as faculty members complete advanced degrees, certifications, licenses, etc., the faculty member will send official documentation, within 45 days of hire, to the Office of Human Resources, and the credentialing file in Academic Affairs.
