Mechanical Superintendent

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for an Mechanical / Electrical Superintendent to join our team of professionals.

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for on-site management of construction projects from mobilization through completion. This role ensures that all construction activities are executed safely efficiently and in accordance with the contract documents schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and supervise all field operations subcontractors and trades on site.
• Enforce project safety quality control and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain project schedule by ensuring trade contractors meet their deadlines.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs safety meetings and progress meetings.
• Review and interpret drawings specifications and submittals.
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding site progress issues and logistics.
• Manage inspections RFIs field reports and punch lists.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Write detailed daily reports describing all job activities.
• Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.
• Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility which may be a single area multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.
• May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities or may coordinate with clients resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
• Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design / specifications completion on schedule within budget and to quality standards.
• Interfaces with all other administrative field staff field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

BA / BS Engineering Construction Management or similar curriculum and 6 years of relevant construction experience in a Superintendent / Site Supervisory role or AA / AS and 8 years of relevant construction experience or HSD / GED and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.
