Reports to the Application Manager. Be an influencer and thought leader with in-depth technical expertise, credibility, and field experience. Responsible for leading integration with team and architecting of API, HL7, and other data interface solutions to enable the flow of data to and from end users. Demonstrated experiences in architecting service integrations. Perform technical analysis of developer code and design to ensure functions and efficiency meet standards. Participates in the development of solutions requiring analysis and research. Utilizes process improvement techniques.

Responsible for the technical analysis and design needed to ensure functionality and efficiency :

  • Works with the junior developers to determine feasibility of solution designs to meet standards.
  • Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout projects and contribute to developing and implementing internal mitigation measures.
  • Completes the analysis required to determine the most efficient program designs, algorithms, file access techniques, and formats needed to create efficient and effective software solutions.
  • Contributes to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
  • Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with appropriate end user and application analysts.
  • Performs troubleshooting activities in order to avoid potential problems.
  • Performs other functions to maintain personal competence and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department by :

  • ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Associate complies with the following organizational requirements :

  • Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared.
  • Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
  • Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
  • Maintains license / certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
  • Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position / department.
  • Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
  • Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
  • Complies with established organization and department policies.
  • Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.

  • Education and Experience

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, IS, another appropriate field or equivalent experience. A minimum of four years of progressively more responsible experience in architecting services integrations, including experience in API management solutions and software development life cycle, is desired. Preference will be given to candidates with training and experience with those software and hardware products regularly used by Beacon.
  • Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrated experiences architecting services integrations with MuleSoft (required) and at least one of the following other solutions : (e.g., IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, etc.).
  • API Management solutions (Apigee, Mashery, etc).
  • One or more on-premise / SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, Siebel, SAP, WorkDay, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience managing and architecting for multiple technical integration project SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle) end-to-end, sometimes simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of on-premise / cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments / configurations and definition / evangelism of best practices / standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively architect solutions within a diverse technical team of client, SIs, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior level resources while leading internal initiatives to grow Services organization practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with High-Availability, Fault-Tolerance, Performance Testing and Tuning parameters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements.
  • Demonstrates good organization skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize workload, detail oriented, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Working Conditions

  • Must be effective in a fast-paced, quality focused, multi-priority environment requiring the ability to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines.
  • May experience some mental / visual fatigue due to continued use of computer equipment.
  • Physical Demands

  • Requires the physical ability and stamina (i.e., to sit, stand and / or walk for prolonged periods of time, lift, hold and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds, etc.) to perform the essential functions of the position.
