As an intern, your time will be divided between a core program shared with the entire cohort and specialized work, projects, and programming tailored to the department you join.

Employee Benefits is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for an intern in our 2026 summer program! This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience at the Wichita office, under a normal five-day in-office schedule.

Daily responsibilities will include :

• Identify efficiencies within day-to-day workflows and recommend improvements to streamline operations.
• Manage and maintain accurate carrier information to ensure records are up to date.
• Assist with data migration and transitions between platforms (e.g., Monday.com / Epic to Salesforce).
• Support open enrollment preparation through information gathering, document organization, and task coordination.
• Shadow both client-facing and internal meetings to build understanding of processes, communication styles, and service expectations.
• Complete marketing-related requests, including email drafts and Excel-based tasks, to support team initiatives.
• Complete a special project designed to support department goals and showcase learning and contributions.

Because of this, preference is given to students closer to graduation, who demonstrate a curiosity about future employment within our industry.

Compensation :

This position is classified as nonexempt and is paid on an hourly basis. The hourly pay range for IMA interns is 18.00 to 22.00 dollars and is determined by your expected graduating year. You will be paid for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state wage and hour laws.
