Program Manager (Senior Companion Program)

Work Schedule : 35 hours per week Regular Full Time ( 8 : 30am 4 : 30pm)

Pay Type : Salary $50000 - $55000

Position Overview

We are seeking a bilingual (English / Spanish) detail-oriented professional with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and support a wide range of administrative and programmatic functions. The role will also collaborate with the Program Director to build and maintain partnerships with city-wide agencies. Additional duties include preparing and submitting volunteer stipend check requests to Accounts Payable reconciling stipend checks with internal spreadsheets and distributing checks to volunteers on a bi-weekly basis. The candidate will coordinate activities with other Henry Street Settlement (HSS) departments and divisions.

Qualifications :

• Associates degree required; bachelors degree preferred
• Bi-lingual English / Spanish required
• Strong writing organizational and communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to travel within the 5 boroughs
