We are currently seeking dedicated and professional Host / Hostesses to join our team and contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Job Description :

As a Host / Hostess at Odyssey Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their dining experience. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a positive and memorable impression.

Pay : $17.00 - $18.50 / hour

Key Responsibilities :

Greet Guests : Welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Reservation Management : Manage restaurant reservations efficiently, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely communication with guests.

Seating Arrangements : Escort guests to their tables, providing them with menus and ensuring they are comfortable.

Menu Knowledge : Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their selections.

Guest Service : Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guests' needs, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.

Team Communication : Collaborate with servers, chefs, and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination and excellent service.

Special Requests : Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and accommodations with attention to detail and care.

Maintain Cleanliness : Ensure the host / hostess area and lobby are clean and organized at all times.

Upselling : Promote restaurant specials, beverages, and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.

Requirements :

Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and courtesy.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of reservation management software is a plus.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operation.
