What you will do :

Electra is seeking an experienced licensed Electrician to conduct electrical installations maintenance and troubleshooting across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include :

• Install maintain and repair high and low voltage electrical systems equipment and components including motors controls transformers circuit breakers control panels switches and Automation Systems
• Read interpret and update electrical schematics blueprints and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair processes ensuring all work adheres to technical specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems and equipment malfunctions using advanced testing devices such as multimeters oscilloscopes and power analyzers to identify root causes and implement effective solutions quickly and safely
• Assist in developing and executing preventive maintenance programs and schedules for industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize unexpected failures
• Strictly adhere to all local state and national electrical codes (e.g. National Electrical Code - NEC) as well as company standards safety protocols and regulations including OSHA guidelines and NFPA 70E Arc Flash safety standards
• Collaborate with engineers operations personnel and other tradespeople to support equipment commissioning and equipment upgrades
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities repairs and materials used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Participate in safety audits preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives
