Role Specifics and Benefits : As the CVOR RN, you'll scrub, circulate, and assist during complex cardiovascular procedures-CABG, valve repairs and replacements, TAVR, pacemaker implantations, and more-ensuring sterile technique, instrument readiness, accurate instrument counts, and meticulous documentation. You'll partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and scrub techs to optimize flow, anticipate needs, and minimize ischemia times, while prioritizing patient safety, hemodynamic monitoring, and analgesia. You'll have opportunities to lead perioperative protocols, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and mentor junior staff and traveling teammates. The role encompasses preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and postoperative handoffs to critical care or floor teams, reinforcing a continuum of high-quality care.
