Wieland is hiring a Supervisor, Microcool. The Supervisor, Microcool will be responsible for organization and completion of Microcool shop work, including working with documentation on machine prints, layouts, material inventory and ordering. Will ensure all Microcool shop parts meet design and quality specifications. Makes recommendations on replacement parts. Maintains tool and materials inventories, drawing revisions, and general workflow in ProShop. This role is located in Pine Hall, NC and will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities

Supervisor, Microcool Responsibilities :

Organizing and scheduling of shop work activities and orders which include breakdowns, projects and re-supply of storeroom parts based on priority.

• Works with machinists to create layouts for and performs machine operations with the following equipment : CNC mills, MDT, skiving, Friction Stir Welding, water jet cutting, laser engraving, sonic cleaning and salt spray equipment.
• Performs basic drawing revisions and programming modification and works with documentation and engineers on technical communication and documentation.
• Responsible for in process quality control and documentation.
• Oversees Microcool shop personal training and progress.
• Responsible for pre material selection and supply.
• Responsible for maintaining information in PROSHOP software as well as data monitoring and input. Follow daily progress in PROSHOP from po to invoice to ensure production scheduling that matches customer on time delivery.
